None of the above options in the poll. His defining moment in the sport, the moment everyone remembers about him, is his valiant losing effort against Lewis, in a fight he was leading on the cards after six rounds but was a damn sight closer than any Klitschko-fanboy has ever admitted and certainly not the one-sided domination prior to the cuts they'd have everybody believe it was - if it was a one-sided fight like they'd like us to believe then it would not have been arguably the greast heavyweight fight of the 2000's.

I voted the destruction of Peter after a 4 yr layoff. When I'd heard he was coming out of retirement, I thought it might have been too late.
He was 38 y/o, hardly a young man, a yr older than Lewis when he'd last fought.

The fight wasn't even close. Vitali beat Peter in dominating fashion, swelling his face like Peter had been stung by a swarm of africinized honeybees.

Brilliant effort by Vitali to regain his title and bring his form of dominance back to HW boxing.:deal

 

What lewis did is understandable, almost all of the other heavyweights would have done the same, imo.
