whether this was a robbery or not everybody before the fight knew that if it was close it would go to Alexander.

Thats where the problem lies, same with Sturm/Macklin, if its close it will go to Sturm.

Same with Judah/Matthysse, until someone makes a stand or the mainstream media report it or question it then it will continue.

Boxing needs to go to 5 judges.

"Against Kotelnik all three judges scored the bout 116-112 though Kotelnik clearly won that fight albeit a close one. This time, they had it a split decision win for Devon just to make it more justifiable but in the end robberies in boxing is rampant. Lucas scored a knockdown and was dominant for most of the fight. He clearly won rounds 4,5,6,7,8 and 10 but how he lost it really is mind-boggling"

This was my response last night on one of the thread and I thought it was clear as day that Lucas won rounds 4-10 'cept the 9th how the **** did one judge scored it 96-93 or 7 rounds to 3 for Devon :patsch:patsch:patsch

I earned back some paltry vcash just from knowing Devon was going to get the gift. And to those saying it was a close fight... it was close but CLEAR for Matthyse -- big difference. There was no doubt as to which rounds were his, and when you factor in the knockdown and there were only 10 rounds in the fight to begin with, he was clearly jobbed.

If you take away the shoeshine punches that didnt land, the grunting, crowd support and RJJ, Devon may have only won 3 rounds.

I would also put some serious thought on that + never allowing even rounds, unless there are points deducted which make it happen.

Official judges HAVE to choose in the 10 point must system rules. Hard as that may be, it's the rule.

Not sure what you mean based on my previous comment. I'm saying there shouldn't be even rounds allowed within the 10 point must system, therefore rounds with no knockdowns, could only end up being 10-9 rounds, unless points are deducted by the referee.

Do you think judges shouldn't be allowed to call rounds 10-10 ?

If the outcome of a round doesn't include knockdowns or points being deducted by the referee, I personally think that judges should always be forced to pick the winner of a round, therefore an automatic 10-9 whether it is close or not. No more 10-10 rounds as far as I'm concerned...

1st, I'll answer 10-10 should NOT be allowed....OK...:p....and that's because.... what I've been saying is, regardless of what I think, they are not allowed PERIOD.

Let me ask you.....Do you believe any Official judge ever scores a 10-10 round??
