De Gale was beaten up despite knicking the draw. He took the heavier shots and was beaten around the ring in the 6th and 8th badly. It was that flash knock down in round 1 that saved him from a loss.
I picked DeGale to win in Kirk's League but scored it 115-111 Jack. Whatever I'm not a fan of either guy, just kinda crappy for Jack. What should be 2 big wins on his resume are both gifted draws to the more well known fighter.
My full card is as follows: JACK - DG 8-10 9-10 10-9 10-9 10-9 10-9 9-10 10-9 9-10 9-10 9-10 10-8 113-113 http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/bo...ion-super-middleweight-unification-fight.html Jeff Powell in the DM somehow scored it 114-112. Do you have the official judges scorecards so I can compare?
No I don't have the official judges scorecards, but my round by round is; 1.) 10-8 DeGale 2.) 10-9 DeGale 3.) 10-9 Jack 4.) 10-9 Jack 5.) 10-9 Jack 6.) 10-9 Jack 7.) 10-9 DeGale 8.) 10-9 Jack 9.) 10-9 Jack 10.) 10-9 DeGale 11.) 10-9 Jack 12.) 10-8 Jack 115-111 Jack.
Jack was knocking off body parts. Teeth, pieces of his face, had him spitting out his mouth piece on a regular basis. He was tearing that ass up, and De Gale knows it.
Jack clearly did enough to win, James won the first two rounds and possibly two at the end, that's it. Those body shots were killing DeGale and he was visibly stunned on numerous occasions. The knockdown at the end complete sealed it for me. DeGale should have had a point deducted for his continuous spitting out of the gum shield.
So literally, we only differ over rounds 9 and 11. I give both to DG and you give both to Jack, otherwise its an identical card.
Had JD up by 2. But JD was clearly more hurt in the fight. Might have to watch it again. Degale might have been just trying to show the judges with volume and flashy shots with no substance
