Now that we have seen the blueprint on how to beat Floyd, who could do it?

Dont get the title twisted, im not saying Maidana won either fight (clearly not the 2nd!) but in my eyes, other than the Castillo fight, he had Floyd's number in the 1st.

Out of the fighters available today, who do you see causing him trouble & how?

Would you think the likes of Canelo (just an example) could have a shot in a rematch? i know he was clowned in the first fight, but now he has seen how to get to Floyd & make him work for the win, rather than just taking it.

Could you see an opponent like Canelo (who has a pretty good chin) having little respect for Floyds power and rushing up on him like Maidana did?

Canelo is not as awkward as Maidana, and he has stamina issues, Floyd clowns him all 12 rounds again.

The best qualified person who can answer this question is Floyd Sr.

" I will not let Floyd Jr. fight Pacquiao " Floyd Sr. Right after Pacquiao brutalized Cotto.

The first fight really isn't a blue print, considering the fact that Floyd can switch up and make your game plan crumble. Floyd had a hard time because he choose to fight Maidana fight instead of his own.

Well, really, in my eyes it is. How many others have won that amount of rounds decisively? (other than Castillo - note that Floyd was hurt in that fight)

Come on man. You are trying to tell me, Floyd who got rocked my Mosely and clung on for dear life, is going to stand there and let himself get hit against someone with a very high KO rate?

I will admit that i think he tried to bait Maidana in to fight that way, but he didn't execute his escape from the flurries very well as Maidana didn't let him escape because of the amount of punches he continued to throw from varied angles. Floyd may have put himself in that position, but he had a damn hard time getting himself out of it. If Maidana can create that pressure, there are many other fighters who can too.

    :crybaby

I know i said no ***** or ******* posts but i genuinely laughed at this.
Ill let it slide because one of the biggest nutswingers from this forum posted before you...

In my opinion Maidana is a B level fighter at best.

He managed to come within a round in the first fight of beating the so called "TBE". He won rounds definitively, with a game plan in mind. That game plan can be executed by other fighters with much more skill and threat to Floyd.

Whether Floyd planned on fighting that way or not, he got sucked into that style again at times in the 2nd fight too (no where near as often as the first).

If he does that with Maidana, then what happens against others who can successfully apply the same pressure?

    That is all im saying.

Garcia with his tennis racket swings and poor footwork?

Thurman, could beat an older Floyd. Diaz, Chavez and Karass were all able to stun Thurman so i am a bit worried about that.
But to Thurmans credit he has shown grit and never really flustered when someone made him fight out of his comfort zone.
