    ...where does it leave him?

Does this rule him out of a fight with Hatton?

I expected a hugely impressive performance from Junior but it never happened

    What will Hatton say/think
    A) 'Iv seen his other bad side,il fight him now'
    B) 'Junior Witter doesn't belong in the same ring as me...bla bla'

Is Hatton justified in going with option B?

I was really hoping for better than that from Witter, very dissapointed i must say

    PS-Sleazenation shut up:good

    That was sad to see.

But now Hatton will fight the #1 contender in this next fight. Everybody can be happy for him taking on the #1 like you all wanted.

    :good

I think Hatton is justified now in not fighting Witter as his one bargaining chip, his belt, has gone. But i didn't think Hatton would fight him ever in the first place.

I wasn't happy, never been happy to see a Brit lose a fight.

I'm pleased that Hatton will be fighting better guys than Witter, that's all I ever wanted to see.

Junior is cool, he beat some guys, got to the #1 contender spot for a few months. It's all good stuff.

I always thought Hatton would narrowly beat Witter but everyone was on Hattons case for not fighting him, hopefully tonight will reaffirm that Hatton was and is the best at 140 like it or not.

    I was happy he lost.

I don't like Witter, his trainer or the Hatton haters that support him.

I felt a bit sorry for him clowning with Bradley after the fight, because for a split second he seemed like a nice guy and I knew he'd lost.

The anti-Hatton's will find another excuse for him not fighting someone, it's their life mission. :nut

Disapointed, but I truely believe he can come back and possibly win a rematch, or pick up a belt from Kotelnik/Torres if by some miracle they give him a chance

The remote possibility of Hatton has diminished, obviously

No chance of fighting hatton and this has proven he didn't deserve a fight with him.

I predict that Paulie Malignaggi's reputation on the British ESB board is going to skyrocket overnight....

All it does is give Hatton a legitimate excuse and reason not to fight Witter. After all he will say Witter brings nothing to the party as he has now lost the WBC belt. If they ever fight you will have to favour Witter at his best counterpunching switch hitting against Hatton's incessant aggression. However the fight will never happen now. As for Ajose Olusegun we will have to focus on Tim Bradley now as we pursue the very important prestigious WBC belt. Witter can come and fight us for the WBC title but I doubt he will havung avoided us for so long.
