Witter never brought anything to the table skill wise to beat Hatton anyway.

Witters power is very overated, Hatton has been in with much bigger punchers and Witters **** punch output would not compete with Hattons. Plus Witters switch hitting would be good if he had good footwork..................but he doesnt, and when Hatton would come forward Witter would back off in straight lines with his chin in the air.

I bet Hatton is laughing this morning:lol:

    Talking from experience Dunky?

Only joking. I agree with you that Witter looked very lackluster, his speed and sharpness wasn't there at all.

Spoken like a European the EBU being more worthy than the ABU. Why is Ajose higher rated than Lynes in the WBC rankings then. Why does Cynthia Lynes run away from fighting Ajose then. You really have to scrape the barrel for your excuses. Like Desert Storm Bradley we remain undefeated while Lynes has been beaten three times and stopped twice. I don't know if Lynes can beat Wright personally I doubt it though I know Wright has more balls than Lynes and that is a fact. No respect can be given to punks who sign up for contests and back out. We had 2 weeks notice for Wright we were not in shape but we made no excuses took the fight and did what we hjad to do to win. Had we lost we would not have made any excuses.

This is exactly the crap the Witter camp have been coming out with though.

'Real boxing fans this' 'real boxing fans that...' - PATHETIC

Like anyone who supports Hatton is instantly discredited. It's garbage and childish and has been the MO of some people for far too long.

So Sleazenation is probably being ironic with the 'boxing fans knew this' talk.

I think the only chance for a quick return is Kotelnik wanting revenge. He's just not exciting enough for the us promoters. Though even Kotelnik might not want a part of him.

The other alternatives are those wanting to make a name for themselves - Ajose, Lynes... but Junior's not gonna be too happy being someone's stepping stone.

It's gonna be hard for him...

Yeah I have noticed Calzaghe getting whipped by every American he has faced and Lewis did **** all too. In fact what American fighters would "pwn" Hatton other than PBF?

    PBF beats everyone.

What can I say? Im as disappointed as anyone in Witter just as I was with Woods a few months back.

No one in their right mind can criticise Hatton for taking on PM now. I still find the notion that Hatton refused to fight his number one contender or even entertain the thought somewhat disturbing, but Witter has now officially fallen off the chart and that's that.

Come on, Witter was only #1 contender since Hatton beat Castillo, and that was his last fight at 140. Hatton would've had to be quick to catch Witter as #1, he only held the position for one fight. :rofl

I was amused to see you call anyone a troll on another thread :yep

Anyway, thats your criteria. I don't always agree with Ring Magazine btw. Do I think being champ at 135 and getting a gift in your first fight at 140 makes you number 1 contender? Nope and not just because it suits my agenda unlike some

Witter, it could be strongly argued had been number 1 for a long time before that. He certainly had the strongest resume in regards to what he did at 140 outside of Hatton. I find the principle of Hatton making excuse after excuse for not facing him somewhat disturbing.

However your just a fanny anyway mate and if im going to talk boxing with Hatton fans it sure as hell won't be you. Gaz or someone else who stays objective and is worth talking to rather than someone who intentionally comes on to boards to anatagonise rather than add anything constructive to a debate :hi:

I just let you know how it is, you were getting your knickers in a twist about Hatton-Witter. But Witter did nothing to make that fight important ever, except lose to the one half decent fighter he faced.

And now he's lost to a guy who wasn't even rated, you'll only talk to people who weren't as bothered as me about the fight not happening. :nut

You need to learn how to judge a fighter and their best opponents based on their fights and not your own hatred.

Please don't even attempt to take the high horse here. Your embarassing yourself. Do you think anyone has forgot statements such as Calzaghe should have fought on Ottke undercards and Jones undercards in the vain hope of them fighting him? That it was his fault for Hopkins refusing the fight in 2002? That Kessler and Lacy were nothing because they were young and raw and that Hopkins was old?

You are the very worst for that. Search through my posts noob. I was for the longest time far from a Hatton hater and ive given credit to him many times in the past. You on the other hand, are a troll that as I said comes on to these boards not to add anything meaningful but to simply anatagonise in the best way you can.

And im not the only who say this of course :yep

I do not know where Witter will go now. Hope he shuts up about Hatton though. Hopefully he can get a rematch with Bradley and try to rectify the loss but after that I am not sure what he can do at 34. His style means age is going to be a factor in how good he is.

I can not see him bothering with Lynes for the Euro belt or fighting Ajose unless it becomes an eliminator.

Maybe he should move to welter and have one last crack at America. Relocate stateside and try for a fight with Cintron or an up and comer like Berto. After that I do not think he has many places to go apart from retire which I hope does not happen but I have a sneaky feeling he might.

We had 12 pages of Calzaghe not fight Roy Jones, or anyone else, as you seem to have forgot my reasons for having a problem with that. It's all there, I'm not going over it again.
I stand by everything I said.
