Mate in those 8 years Witter fought Kotelnik, Corley for the WBC title and defended it against Harris. He also beat N'Dou.
Kotelnik is now a 140 Champion and Corley and N'Dou were both gatekeepers to the elite, as seen by them only losing to the likes of PBF, Cotto etc.

I pick Hatton to beat Witter and I am a Hatton fan, but Kotelnik is a better name than Urango.

Not when Witter fought him, he didn't have any title or any name in world boxing.

Plus, Hatton shut Urango out, Witter only just beat Kotelnik. :-(

Even if Hatton wasn't interested in the money, there is still many people who are. The promoters want to make the most money possibly, so surely they wouldn't want Hatton to fight Witter? His manager, too. The owners of the hosting venue would want Hatton vs. another megastar. The global boxing community would probably rather see Hatton face someone like Juan Diaz more than Witter. What about the TV comapnies? Sky or Setanta may want Hatton to fight Witter, but the real power is with HBO. I have no doubt they'd rather see Hatton get his arse kicked against Mayweather again.

It goes far beyond what Hatton wants.

You can be the most humble person alive and still want to make good money, anyway. I'm sure he wants to offer his family and friends a great life themselves. If I was in his position, I'd go where the money is to look after my parents, girlfriend and kid without any doubt.

Witter struggles under pressure thats why ive always been so amazed that people seem to think he would make light work of a fighter like Ricky. Id fancy Ricky to win a far more comfortable decision than Bradley. Witter just didnt seem interested last night he seems to fight in one gear for 12 rounds! The fight was on a knife edge from rounds 9-12 and he did sweet FA! He doesn't like it when the going gets tough hence why Hatton would smash him. Witter is incredibly frustrating to watch, the only time i was ever truly impressed with him was for six rounds against N'dou and against Harris.

Too much time whinging and bitching about not getting his payday or the recognition then he puts in a peformance like that on prime time terrestrial tv.

Junior you have only yourself to blame.

Paulie, Torres and now Bradley are all above Junior in the queue to fight Hatton id expect only Paulie will get the chance to though.

Who has Witter beaten, N-Dou is a tune up been beaten multiple times, Harris was exposed by Maussa, I remember Scurla telling me Chop Chop was world class, this same Chop Chop who has been beaten multiple times by good and by not so good fighters, compelte joke.

Just to add, Hatton has no business fighting Malignaggi the guy couldn't put a hole ina paper bag!
