    The fact that Bellew possesses the WBC belt is just due to plenty of coincidences which helped him hugely:
    _ the unfortunate injuries occurred to Drozd, a boxer decisively better than the 'Bomber';
    _ the wrong game plan used in the championship fight by Makabu, who became too much confident and reckless after the knockdown of the first round inflicted to Tony;
    _ the abysmal choice of the WBC to let Bellew have a soft first defense of the belt against the mediocre BJ Flores, instead of urging him to face Mairis Briedis.

    175 is very stacked.

    And to be honest:
    - Bellew at CW is better p4p than the LHW version, which did not have much powah
    - Bellew got a lucky shot on Makabu to get the belt, that's all. Haye will smash him, as would any of the other CW beltholders minus Shumenov

    Tbh it was a joke but to say Usyk would beat the best heavyweights is a bigger joke.

    This guy can't punch at cruiserweight let alone heavyweight.

    Lets see him beat Breidis and Gassiev first, I think Briedis beats him and Gassiev makes him work his ass off.

    Yeah, the CW division as of lately has really put itself back on the Map. And it's mostly all EE flavor!

    Wait and see, obviously the argument for Usyk at HW is only amateur / WSB at the moment, but with all the top HWs flawed, who knows?

    Briedis is really good too, I'd like to see that match. Gassiev is apparently moving to HW, so we'll get some idea regarding how good the CW division is judging by how he goes.

    Gassiev is not moving up, who said that? He was ~205 on fight night vs Lebedev.
    And Briedis-Huck is a hell of a fight, can't wait for it!

    More like 230lbs, he made Lebedev look tiny and he would have been 215+

    Fight night weights are bogus and until we see them weigh under strict conditions in the ring before the fight its just speculation

    I'm with you, I haven't seen a fight yet that I been impressed with Usyk and not see anything from him that suggests that he would be successful in heavyweight.

    Haye in cruiser was far more impressive and fun to watch!
