Now the dust has settled, do you still believe Haye's injuries were genuine?

Nope he didn't fake injury! He has a nasty scar across shoulder and he stood to make 5million in a 80-20 fight in his favour, he was always gonna be too quick fir fury!

I dislike Haye heavily, but for ****'s sake, he is on a different planet as a boxer to Tyson Fury, I just shake my head at some of the nonsense spewed in this thread, Haye ducking Tyson Fury???

Haye getting in there with Valuev is irrelevant Valuev was awful and clearly lost to Evander Holyfield

Valouev was the only one throwing punches in that fight, even Jim Watt had Valouev winning. I wanted to see Fury fight Haye, am very disappointed he back out....................

Think he needed some sort of corrective surgery but not urgently. He chose to have it done asap to get out of the fight.

Firstly,I have no opinion whether the injury was genuine or not,Lee.But I wouldn't totally write him faking it off.
Regarding what he had to fear from Fury:Losing.Despite being knocked down himself,Fury came back to somewhat brutalise Cunningham, who David will have known as an excellent cruiser/small heavy like himself. He did brilliantly vs Valuev but it was still close.Completely dominated by Wlad.Fury is between their sizes, would have looked like a cruiser against a welterweight, and Fury is younger and hungrier than both, very ambitious and for want of a better word a bit of a nutter.Quite a lot to be afraid of considering the size difference.

I have no reason to doubt him. Haye isn't superman, he isn't immune to injury.

We still have no info on when the shoulder injury actually happened and how severe it was.

Haye's boxing credibility at this stage is at an all time low- there are now always going to be questions regarding his reliability after the Fury debacle.

Its a tough one because he looked very good in sparing against wilder didnt see the others but 2 spar again so close to the fight seems very dodge and something smells very bad about it all
