Cotto was a natural WW and JrMW.

When he was fighting at 140 he was weighing almost 160 on fight night.

Cotto KTFO Daniel Geale in more impressive fashion than GGG too.

With that said, MW was his cap and could never beat Canelo, but he could possibly out box Golovkin, possibly.

He only scaled 155, 153.5 and 153.5 for his 3 fights at MW. Dude never touched 160 when he was in shape.

So you think Cotto just really enjoyed cutting extra weight? He scaled 155 for a contracted weight of 159 vs Martinez. Why on earth would he drain himself an extra 4 pounds for no reason? So he could feel extra crappy and sucked in? That makes zero sense.

Ward would beat GGG and Canelo. What weight would they even fight him at?

It doesn't make too much sense, but fighters do that. Pacquiao would weigh in at 143-144 only to fight at 149. GGG is supposedly 165 a month from the fight but on fight night is 170+.

Seriously. The fight in a fair world could easily have gone to Golovkin. Then what? Canelo is a bum?

Sturm was 30 when he ducked Golovkin

Cotto had the lineal MW belt

Martinez prefered to fight Macklin, Murray, Cotto and Chavez JR

At this point it's near unequivocal; Ward would have bullied and stopped GGG in 10 or less. He's just too big and strong and good and GGG has nothing to compensate. No skill advantage. No speed advantage. No athleticism, experience, strength, chin, ring smarts, nothing. Ward has all of these over GGG plus size and strength.

Ward would have nullified GGG with his inside game. GGGs power would been useless. Be a GGG fan and thats fine but if you think ward isnt completely tailor made to destroy GGG then you either a nuthugger or dont know **** about boxing

I don`t think Ward could beat GGG on the inside and would be stopped if he tried, I feel he would win by mixing it up, sometimes inside and other times outside, otherwise GGG would work him out and KO him.

The shot GGG hurt Canelo with would have decked Ward.
