Golovkin destroys defensive fighters. He figures out the angles in the early minutes, and then pounds away. He has an iron chin, great power, and keeps moving forward.

To beat him, it's gonna take someone with those same qualities. Only Chavez Jr comes to mind! Bring on this war after Chavez beats Martinez! :bbb

Are you comparing beating Proksa who has had a close fight with Hope to beating Martinez?

Martinez isnt a Polish club fighter who lost one of his last three to a trash can.

Martinez wants to make money and a guys like Chavez brings PPV money, Golovkin doesn't. Let Golovkin become more popular then the big fights will happen.

If martinez landed those shots that proska did,i know for sure he would have ko'ed golovkin, golovkin is a beast, but he is very flawed defensively.

To say Chavez Jr is the only one who has a chance to beat Golovkin is ridiculous.

Martinez, Pirog and Geale are way more skilled than Chavez Jr, they have a better chance with Golovkin than Jr.

Martinez actually matches up fairly well with Golovkin, constant movement, punches from different angles, fast and powerful enough to keep GGG honest. That obviously doesnt garuantee victory as Golovkin is a cultured fighter with many different aces up his sleeve himself.

The only guy I see with good chances to win against Golovkin at middleweight is Pirog.Martínez and Chavez jr can do a very good entertaining fight but at the end they will lose.

I would love Golovkin/ Cotto at 154 and Golovkin/Ward at catchweight (golovkin is a small middleweight, I think a catchweight is the more fair against something like Ward).

Martinez and Martinez wreck GGG, no disrespect to the dude because he's a good fighter, but his defense is flawed...he's not very fast.

GGG is a beast and cerebral monster doesn't really need speed as much as timing. He can miss a punch and is already one step ahead positioning for a counter. He had some sweet punch rolling havent seen such a great display of textbook boxing in awhile. Not perfect, but close to it. Maravilla-GGG is a 50/50 fight. Both are great for boxing.

For example, giving Floyd a fight of his life. But since joining with Pedro Díaz we are not talking about Cotto(wich was a good fighter), but Cotto 2.0

Martinez never fought GGG because Sergio is broke.
(For being a top P4P fighter sense)
