^ Pacman is negotiating for a cutoff. Check your facts...

Take it or leave it is not a way to negotiate for a fight.

Floyd wants to level the playing field.

    I can't understand why...

it's not like floyd is on the losing end here. skillwise the scale is already tipped to his side. now he wants pac to come in not mentally and subsequently physically 100% in the biggest fight of his life? how much more comfortable does floyd want in each of his fights that he wants considerable edge?

we are talking of one of the most skilled and fundamental boxers all time who chooses to fight low risk high reward fights and asks for every advantage from his opponents when this boxer is already leaps about everyone else in talent.

floyd is not asking for a level playing field. he wants each fight to go like a bonus round where the risks are minimized. this is the mentality of one of the most skilled boxers all time.

level playing field? then what the hell did he ask jmm to do when they fought?

i thought he agreed to the smaller gloves which favor the puncher....yet that always gets left out....anyone arguing against decent PED testing in the age of PEDs in sports is basically talking out of their ass

you're not getting what i'm saying. not contending that the random tests be dropped altogether. rather, as it is the primary reason the fight's on a halt, floyd should on his part extend out some willingness to negotiate in a fight that would benefit both. as this osdt is not the norm as of the moment, there should be an agreement somewhere in the middle that will work for both.

not questioning the tests, rather, the very intentions of the one who asked for it in the first place. manny already said that he is willing to support this if it becomes the standard. right now, the man who bitched on him in public, mocking and accusing him, is asking for him to do something that's not the standard. also, you already know what he said about the blood being taken out affecting him mentally if too close ot the fight.

he did, day of...7 days....14......wasn't enough to satisfy pac the first time...lets not forget he gave pac the gloves, the 50/50 (and floyd does pull in more per fight than pac, so don't even try to spin the #s) and he still was compromising the testing time

and while i think he should have just taken the damn offer the second time around, we don't really know what it was since, pac, arum, roach and kockhead all tell different stories

as far as "standard" that word doesn't really exist at the top levels of the sport, when so many aspects of a fight are negotiated (look at the klits and the "brother" clause....totally NOT standard)

and, to this day, i still feel the #1 reason we are not seeing this fight is not floyd, not pac, but arum

You know, while you guys are arguing endlessly about this stupid fight that's likely never to happen, Mayweather is probably spitting at cars from an overpass somewhere giggling like a 5 year old girl, not even giving it a passing thought.

Recently they were saying that Pac was just carefully matched up.

Now he's on PEDs again and needed to be tested? WTF??

never have thrown numbers nor do i resort to finger pointing in this issue as i think only a handful of people know the real truth. the majority like most here is just taking sides which to believe. everyone is saying contradicting crap so which one is the truth?

only two things for this fight to happen. one is if floyd agrees to a few days cutoff. a date that would virtually make the testing as effective and would appease floyd and everyone of the results. two is if pac agrees to full random testing.

i know people say arum but at this point it's just the drug testing right? so it depends on pac and floyd.
