he knew about his glass jaw all along so picked to fight light punchers such as quintana, kolle(who?) and verno whateverhisname is.

mosley wanted him but all pwilly talked about was being avoided when he was avoiding the sugar man himself.

It took you a long assed time to make this thread. Phillips can bang HARD and Mosley is the 1 who didn't want the fight but I suspect you know that

Shane was the one who ducked Williams, not the other way around.

Well, it was Shane who said "I'll fight anyone but I don't really want to fight him (Williams)" but why let the facts get in the way, eh?

But he fought undefeated hard punching Walter Matthyse? And Middleweight Sergio Martinez, who was coming off a KO win over Bunema, and a damn near KO win over Cintron? He also arranged to fight hard punching Middleweight champion, and harder puncher than Shane Mosley, Kelly Pavlik. Your logic is flawed and ridiculous.

Shane actually was the one who was chasing a PBF and Pac fight so technically it was Sugar who avoided it. I wouldnt say avoided though but he wanted the better proven options. He would have beat PW up bad though.

Paul isn't the best fighter, but the ENTIRE WELTERWEIGHT division wanted nothing to do with him.

 i planned on making this thred when pwilly first got ko'd but got banned.

anyways its bull**** about mosley not wanting him, mosley fights EVERYONE, he fought winky TWICE when no one else wanted to.

pwilly and his fans always talk about mosley not wanting it/ducking etc when pwillys team has never even sent mosley an offer, how are you supposed to reject an offer you never got?:smoke

Shane didn't wanna fight Williams, as there was nothing to be gained in a fight with him, As far as Williams goes, I've saying since day 1 his leaky defense would get him ****ed up, now I didn't expect Martinez to KO him cold in 2 but I've always thought he was a KO waiting to happen.

i could see it now, one of shane mosleys over hand rights would hospitalize williams permanently.
