    Couldn't agree more...

The % I have been told would make your eyes water managing & trainer fees combined 35% only passing on what I was told.

No idea of the split in those fees combined but managers fees can often be up to 33%!!!Sure his must be a lot lower but Booth is a very clever businessman sure he will still earn well trainer or not!

Thats certainly a big chunk, surely all this could have been reovled ages ago, unless the whole 'new trainer' thing has actually been arranged between the 3 of them...

Definitely an arrangement there, Booth will still be involved.

Mufc30 I just think £ sadly causes these arguments when GG was a undercard fighter & im not talking bottom of the bill 35% (if correct) of say 10k-20k purses you accept.Booth great negotiator would have got him top £ for his fighter he always does.

The Froch fight PPV % as well as purse he may make believe it or not 7 figures + take 35%of that the arguments begin.

For me GG is forgetting Booth invested in him when a career can go either way injuries etc it is a short sighted view for me his new trainer will be on a fraction of what Booth would of got flat fee fight by fight basis.

To me you don't switch horses halfway through a race time will tell but massive mistake for me.

This is what Booth will be saying as manager too so it wouldnt shock me if the 3 of them agreed a fight plan etc and Fitzpatrick took the training reins...

I understand how the money can escalate and i agree with you on all the points. Now is not the time to be quivelling over money

Groves is too smart to throw away the chance of winning because of money. If he wins this fight the sky's the limit for his earning potential.

Far more to this than is being made out.

Can't see it being anything but being about £ I will stick by what I was told it is the main reason.

GG may have a contract with Booth but many a fighter has walked away when not happy with their manager if GG is that unhappy surprised he hasn't walked away?

Listening to Booth and others it seemed to me that part of the falling out had to do with a lack of dedication by Groves.

Apparently they had split previously and Dean Powell patched things up.

If Groves is lacking in dedication hes done well on it,and has overachieved somewhat.Never heard anything along these lines, but if anybody knows anything it would be interesting.
