    1) The fact that an impending fight is upcoming with Joshua Clottey "kills the lawsuit" against Team Mayweather...Especially if the fight is signed and subsequently Pacquiao collects earnings from this fight. Therefore the remarks by Team Mayweather did not prevent nor disrupt his LIVELIHOOD!!!

    2) There has to be legitimate PROOF, that statements/comments are indeed...FALSE!!!

So question: How does someone prove that he/she is indeed clean and/or free of any ALCOHOL, DRUGS OR SUBSTANCES...I am going "out on a limb" here and say...TAKE A TEST DESIGNED TO COMFIRM THE PRESENCE OF THE SUBSTANCES I WHICH YOU ARE BEING ACCUSED OF TAKING.

You don't have to be educated about the Law to understand this.

If NO Test is taken and there is only a DENIAL...Then its all "HEARSAY!!!"

Or as kids on a Junior High School Playground would say...HE SAID, SHE SAID!!!!

And a Lawsuit based on "HEARSAY" (OR HE SAID, SHE SAID)...Would be Laughed out of Court!!!

    Yep. :deal

Courts bend over backwards to cut "journalists" slack. The problem might come if the court decides he is a boxing professional and force him to give up his source on that grounds. Highly unlikely though. Arum could tell Atlas to put up or shut up and make him look like a cowering ****, but other than that? Not much.

You are forgetting that these emails may be real but meaningless. Just the legal people covering ALL bases since this testing is outside the established norm. What happens if a false positive happens? They want to know if the Mayweather people will leak that to the press before final testing. Ya got nothing. I don't care who you sleep with.

Huh? A positive drug test takes the matter out of BOTH camp's hands. You don't get to fail drug tests then make your own punishment. That is pure BS.

Selective reading on your part. Again, this is probably legal people trying to set parameters for ALL possible outcomes. That is what legal people do. It became needed because Floyd wants to take the testing outside the established guide lines. Their ass is on the line if they miss something. It is their job to consider ALL possible outcomes. I specifically mentioned a false positive. Read my post again. Mayweather is already spreading rumors with NO PROOF what so ever. Imagine what they would do with a false positive.

I agree. My wife is a paralegal in family law. She said yes, so we called her boss and.......... YES!!! there is a case against Atlas if Pac wants to go that way

It isn't selective reading Sir. I understand lawyers covering all bases. I even had the same logic... until I read the USADA's charter. I think you should read it also. I don't fault you for what you are thinking because I was thinking it too. My bad for being a bit abrasive, hahaha.

Check out the USADA's doping policy. If a fighter test's positive AND the follow up checks are positive... Gave Over. There is no need for lawyers to review anything. It is now in the ADA's hands and they suspend you for a year IMMEDIATLY. Not only that they start suspending your ass on the WORLD stage. I am sure Pac's people know this and that is why they wouldn't use the USADA. Once you sign up they own you.

Check it out. It is all on their website. I got schooled on this. I looked at it the exact same way you did. I thought it was only prudent, then damn. The USADA is NO JOKE!!!

I say Pac goes for it. Eventually he is going to back himself into a corner where records and such will be brought in as evidence. Then the truth will come out.

IMO he should just move on and this all becomes the past... the more the "sues this guy" and "sues that guy", the more it just stays aa a major news headline..... move on and it will eventually become back page news
