He and HBO have a September date open. Who could possibly replace Floyd Jr? Nobody in all reality, but Oscar, being the $$$ draw that he is, may want to fight anyway on that date. Lets go over some of the possibilities.

    1. Tito Trinidad. Tito is at LEAST a Supermiddle these days, and Oscar made 150 for his last fight. If the money was right, Tito could be persuaded to call Jenny. Catchweight of 160, which would be tough for Tito to make, but it may be Oscar's only option if he wants a chance at revenge.

    2. Zab Judah...Zab would take this fight in about 2.4 seconds, and at 154 EASY. And Oscar has a good shot of getting his KAYO.

    3. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. A MASSIVE $$$ Fight, for Arum and GBP. Jr. is too green as of yet, but for the amount of green it would generate, they could sell the whole "Revenge for dad" angle, and it wouldnt destroy Jr.s career to lose to a Legend like Oscar, on the other hand, if he gets lucky, he is the Biggest Star of the Sport.

    4. Hatton. I see this happening, but not until December.

    5. Vernon Forrest? Another WBC belt for Oscar?

I am at a loss, I didnt see Floyd Jr. retiring until September 21st. :fire

Sure, why not? I'd go to Vegas to watch him, Chavez or Tito fight Oscar.

If he wants a holiday to Europe and a ton of cash, fight Hatton at Wembley.

Me too. But DLH/Mosley have always been tight but now they are business partners as well as friends. It's so weird that first fight was so good even though they were friends.

Oscar should just get in line like every1 else and earn a title-shot the right way if he wants 1.

Obviously a complete purist's post!! Never gunna happen in a 100years

I agree with this. When I heard DLH was coming down to welterweight I got excited cuz Mosley was coming down same time. But I thought they were gonna earn their way up to title fights. But yeah, this is why I say both are without titles and so should fight each other or Cintron or anyone else. If they prove they still have it then a title shot of course.
