:yep I doubt he really does fight in Febuary though.

He's probably just has a strong itch to fight and wants to get in the ring as soon as he can (I have this feeling every now and then), but will realize it's not probable

Floyd and it isn't close...ITS NOW CLEAR THAT PAC HAS BEEN THE ONE DUCKING, AND HE USED THE DRUG TEST AS AN EXCUSE..

AFTER AGREEING TO THE TEST, EVERYONE SAID FLOYD WOULD MAKE UP THE NEXT EXCUSE

PAC MADE THE NEXT EXCUSE BY SAYING HE WANTED MARQUEZ AGAIN.."MARQUEZ 4" IS THE "NEXT EXCUSE"

I'm surpised the poll is so lopsided...Pac fans still have an argument...the PPV numbers for Pac-JMM III numbers vs the FMJ-Ortiz numbers are a factor, no?

Depends on what you're actually referring to. We were referring to the PR war, but if you mean negotiating power well thats still in the air.

Pacquiao-Marquez is gonna blow away Mayweather-Ortiz and that puts Pac firmly on the throne as the PPV King. Same year? Check. Common opponent? Check.

According to Floyd fans, Floyd always deserved the lion's share of the purse based on this criteria. Money will hold this fight up. Also according to *****s, Pac-Marquez III had ZERO marketing. No one was interested in it.

I definitely think Floyd currently has the upper hand.

    I don't think he does.

Pacquiao-Marquez IV would do MONSTER numbers... I'm guessing about anywhere from 100,000 - 300,000 more buys than what III did. It's the biggest fight outside of Pacquiao-Mayweather. I'm guessing III did 1.5 - 1.7.

    Projections for other Floyd fights:

    Floyd-Khan = 1.3 PPVs
    Floyd-Martinez = 1.5 PPVs
    Floyd-Bradley = 1.1 PPVs
    Floyd-Alexander = 800K PPVs

Arum said the biggest since DLH-Mayweather.

I won't believe what he says, unless HBO issues a statement with an HBO official's name attached to it.

Not when you're not trying to actively fight the other guy, at least in Pac and Arum's case.

The guy who said in an interview that May 5th is wrong, and that he is entering training camp soon for a fight in February?
