They would be, never said they wouldnt be and i expect it to be bradley who is a light puncher and been in a lot of wars but would be a great win no doubt. I dont think he will fight brook as he can punch but it may be all he can get .
Im not saying kha is t good and i enjoy watching him but i think he will avoid punchers until he really has to fight one and that me be brook as he has a title

They were still some of the biggest punchers the division had to offer who were also respectable opponents. Who are the big punchers he avoided?

He is avoiding all of them since he lost to garcia. If he beat thurman and or brook it would raise his stock more than beating alexander or collazo did who are known non puncher. One reason fmj has not gone for the fight is it does nothing for his reputation as khan in the USA is perceived to be glass chinned and has not proven he can beat a puncher recentley and perception is everything. he needs to beat a couple more welters before either manny or fmj would dight him. Might be too late now anyhow.

Well obviously he hasn't faced a big puncher since he got KO'd. He changed trainers, changed weight divisions and has only had 4 fights. Also I don't think Diaz is a bad puncher and Collazo had just stopped Ortiz. He isn't a big puncher but if you have enough power to stop Ortiz, you have enough power to stop Khan so there was still some risk there. He has also been calling out Pacquiao who is a big puncher.

Brook and Thurman wouldn't count as big punchers by your standards because they haven't stopped many people of note.

We can agree to disagree but if khan wants one of the big two he needs to beat a bigish name here in the states like thurman, bradley, maidana 2 or even porter.
I think he will go for bradley which would be a good fight he may even go for algieri which khan would win easy

If he fights algieri then he will continue to be a fighter avoiding any dangerous fighters. Beating him does nothing for Khan's stock and does not bring him any closer to Floyd or Pac.

Khan doesn't seem to realise that he needs to beat a top 5 welterweight and look good doing it.

Beating Alexander and algieri proves nothing.

Khan is behind thurman and behind Brook when it comes to fighters chasing the big fights at 147.

Also reading Khan's tweet from last night was pretty laughable.

The guy is saying he would love to have Bradley, Cotto, marquez or the winner from Floyd vs Pac at Wembley.

How can you talk about a fight at Wembley stadium and not even mention Kell Brook.

Man is straight up ducking Brook. Also I pretty sure JMM would take a fight vs Brook over Khan in the summer.

He will not fight brook if he can help it as brook carries enough power to ko him, it will be bradley or algier. Bradley would be a good win and i think lhan beats bradley easy as he is on the decline. Algieri wont help him much but it is a safe fight. If he fought and beat thurman khans stock would rise as in the USA he is considered chinny

Excuses for what?brook before the stabbing would beat khan imo. Not sure what brook is going to be like now. The point is brook is the biggest fight for khan as he won't face any other decent punchers
