Have you ever seen an uneventful Amir Khan fight? WOW, that was great as well!

But Khan's defense looked below avarage and the chin problems revealed as well (suffered a knockdown in round two)

IMO Now is the time for Khan to travel to the US and hire Big Floyd's or Roger Mayweather's services... 12 months from now he'll be ready for a title, but forget Campbell for a few months and concentrate on learning defensive techniques, accuracy and quality punching.

I'm Glad To Hear That He Is Ready Coming From An American. Big Floyd Would Be Right For Him

Actually suprised me, a great fight. Bad defensive again from Khan.

    Great heart from Gomez.

But Khan looks awesome when he was doing the correct things, id love to know the Hit Counts from both. He was hitting him with combo's of 10 punches+ at times and is really looking powerful.

Agreed, get over to Mayweather, leave warren also for GBP and have a career :good

And please get sky to get fight rights, although im 90% sure Setanta will get him and 90% sure his next fight will be Gavin Rees.

Khan really is a mixed bag...a lot of speed and impressive combination punching, but that chin and defence, ugh.

Roger or Floyd Sr would help a LOT, but they can't help him improve his chin.

I agree with going over with Mayweather.....but I disagree leaving Warren.

IH e can milk his name with FRank ala Calzaghe Hatton (before ricky went independent)

Golden Boy would expose him to high level opposition which would not be good for him....

For example can you imagine a Golden boy WORLD Champion fighting MARIO VEIT Twice????

especially after Koing him in 1???

It is correct that his contract with Warren is due to expire this year, isn't it?

Warren is hoping for a new one of course, but there is speculation Khan will head State-side.

And yeah, I totally agree it would seem a wise move, at least in in-ring terms. His offense seems as good as you can hope for, extra power will come as he gets older too, but his defence needs work. He leaves himself open during attacks.

He also needs someone that can keep him focused on boxing rather than slugging sometimes too...he made the Gomez fight harder than it should've been, in going for a stoppage in round 2 against a Gomez still with a lot of fight left in him.

Khan needs serious defensive and inside work before he can contemplate a world title shot.

The only he can win a world title is if he has a watertight defence, or he will be tagged and KTFO at world class level

Problem is, Amir Khan's weakness is his defence and his inability to take a flush punch. He's been dropped by two C level fighters, one of them being shot to peices, so how do you think he will handle Juan Manuel Marquez, Manny Pacquiao, Joan Guzman, and even Alex Arthur if they land flush?

I hope Amir Khan believes in his own hype and he gets a fight with Marquez or Manny at lightweight soon. The so-called British boxing fans who aren't fans of Boxing, just their union jack, will be shitting themselves when they see their star on the canvas out cold in the first round.

    I'm British by the way.

The Mayweathers' shoulder roll and other defensive techniques would work just great with Khan... he's got sick amount of talent and showed very visible improvements after the Limond fight, but he's not yet ready and the chin is a factor especially with the defensive holes...

A few good months with either Roger or Floyd Sr. would be nice before fighting for a title. Sparring with Floyd (who's still in the gym these days) or Guzman is a huge experience as well, and both Mayweathers and their fighters can help Amir improve his defense and his offense as well...

Khan should hire one of them as soon as possible!

I think hiring a Mayweather would be a good move, his defence isn't good so why not hire a trainer who is brilliant on defence.

i agree with what you're saying, although power is the last thing to go in a shot fighter.
