actually that's embarassing for Jota. He says that Caneman's post is outdated, and then posts a link from ESPN from the same timeframe.

look at these fools they know Pac can't be beat unless he has some kind of disadvantage and they are scrutinizing the rulebook to try find one.

its been 8 ounce gloves at 147...

bazooks is just a hater. he needs to worry about his home state of California where North Korea has better boxing standards and professsionalism.

Its from 06 because thats when the new rule was implemented.
In 07 when Hatton-Castillo took place, both were forced to wear 10oz gloves.......and like I said in a previous post, its possible that sometime after the Castillo-Hatton fight, the rules were changed again to give fighters above 135 lbs the option of using the 8oz glove if both fighters agreed to it.

If this is the case......and listen carefully *******s.....
Mayweather Jr. can call Pacquiao out OSDT or not, and simply demand every nuance of the fight be conducted through the commision rules. Then can even forget about the extra PED testing........
Mayweather at this point can demand that both he and Pacquiao will walk into the ring using 10oz gloves.

How many of you here believe Pacquiao would sign that contract?:lol::lol:

The NSAC rules indicated that if both welterweights cannot agree on a glove size, they both use 10oz gloves.
Pacquiao walking away from that fight would be a clear duck!:deal:yep

Nevada, boxers who weighed more than the 135-pound lightweight limit had to wear 10-ounce gloves.

In virtually every other jurisdiction in the world, fighters wear 8-ounce gloves up to the 147-pound welterweight class with 10-ounce gloves being worn in fights over 147 pounds. Off to Texas or Blah blah blah

NIce avatar, divac. Are you keeping that or will go back to your old one after a while?
Anyway, I know that the NSAC states that if either fighter won't agree to 8 oz gloves, both fighters should wear the 10 oz gloves. Is the commission has the same stance on drug testing (if they cannot agree on drug testing, they should follow the commission rule)?

Well they were new at the time, but were they ever kept? Is it currently used? If it was, don't you think every lightweight fight and above would be using 10 oz? This isn't rocket science guys.
