whatever the **** they signed the contract for.:yep

Can't wait for your mexican drug lord to pay Pac to beat up Canelo with whatever size gloves Pac signs the contract for in MEXICO.

maybe then, you'll get your victory over Pac.:yep

These are the current Texas rules for gloves. 147 and below is 8 ounces. Above 147 is optional (meaning 10 ounces can be chosen but will not be enforced) :yep

Thats interesting.......WBC rules say that fighters above 147 lbs shall wear 10oz gloves.
Pacquiao vs Margarito was for the WBC championship.:think

With a fight of that magnitude and the sanctioning fees, I'm sure the WBC amended their rules and just followed Texas rules. They are entitled to do whatever they want with their own rules.

So if thats the case, what Bazooka has been saying is true. The rules have been bent to accomodate Pacquiao.

Pac vs Margarito was for the WBC juniormiddleweight title, and their rules state that juniormiddleweights shall wear 10oz gloves.

.......for some reason Pac vs Margarito did not follow WBC rules and wore 8oz gloves into the ring.

well the WBC could have forced their rule strictly and would not have made the belt available. but the WBC bends their own rule to get sanctioning fees not only from pacquiao but also from margarito. it's more of the WBC's fault here than pacquiao or margarito.

I am sure that if someone suggested 10 oz gloves to Margarito, he would laugh so loud.

He would rather pour concrete in his gloves than wear a 10 oz gloves. 10 oz gloves are for ***gots.

WBC is located in Mexico, go figure.

And Suleiman is supposedly retired but handed over the reigns to his son. What is this? Royalty?

arum could have said nothing and WBC would still be sanctioning this fight just to get a percentage of pac and margo's sanctioning fees. remember that WBC is also the same sanctioning body who makes Diamond and Silver belts as an addition to their regular belts.
