    8 ounce gloves that Manny wore in the first Morales fight were declaired pillows, and those were 8 ounces..
    you have no idea what the **** your talking about its not the size of the glove only, its also the design and where the padding is distributed.
    sure the move up to 10 ounce would damper a bit, However the 10 ounce Reyes will still do more damage than an 8 ounce winning and thats a fact.

    I don't even have a problem with your personal vendetta against Pacquiao (or whatever it is). But when you think all Filipinos think Manny can do no wrong, then you need to get your head checked. I hated Manny for fighting Margarito (but I'm glad he kicked his ass) and especially a shot Mosley. All races have lazy asses. Who cares?

    Why do you want fights to use pillows?

    I thought you are boxing fans?

    If they could fight bare knuckles, the better.

    Besides both of them will be wearing the same size of gloves.


    The answer is in the rule too. If both parties agree on using 8 oz gloves, below middleweight fights, the commission would allow it.

    You provided facts that were behind Margarito vs Cotto, you have provided no facts to support your arguement that the rule has been changed back...

    Maybe the mother ****er should learn to read before he signs the contract and agrees to the gloves... he signed the contract, he wasnt forced to wear ****...

    Now be honest here.. You started this thread in the attempt to prove Pac was ad******g the rules to fit his own style or needs as a fighter. I proved that this was only a short lived rule, that they very shortly after ammended.. That fighters have the option of using either gloves, but both parties must conform. i also showed you that throughout the whole world welters only use 8oz gloves... The only oplace in the world you will see any welter wearing 10oz is Nevada..:deal

    This was an attempt to say that if pac bends the rules and asks for gloves, that floyd can bend rules and ask for extra tests... It was a fail
