    They amended the rules before this fight stating that there is now an option... Similar to a purse bid, Si ???

    No they did not listen go to NSAC webpage and post the rules on the glove size it should be a PDF there for you to scroll through and dig up.
    They allowed it for Margarito vs Cotto specificly as both sides wanted those gloves, they did not change the entire rule...
    Now again as I said last time, **** you, **** your family and ****in die...

    Since when wasnt I Rican? Everybody who knows me knows that, I am actually mixed Rican and Mexican, But never grew up with my father around, therefore I grew up with my moms side, meaning I am puerto rican........

    Nevada amends glove-size rule to lure Cotto-Margarito

    The Nevada State Athletic Commission on Thursday amended its rule for glove size, putting Las Vegas into the hunt to land the much-anticipated July 26 bout between welterweight titleholder Miguel Cotto and Antonio Margarito.

    At Thursday's meeting, the commission voted 4-0 [one commissioner was absent] to allow lightweight and welterweight fighters the option of using 8- or 10-ounce gloves. If the camps can't agree, the default glove size will be 10 ounces, commission executive director Keith Kizer said.
