Of course not, the Yankees are a good team. It will probably take 5 games for the Phillies to finish them off, maybe 6.

How is not his job to not be back there? He's the boss of the commission. And beside didn't laz say "well it's been over a year and a half."<<Why would he start off with that sentence? It's not like this happen 10 years ago in which if he can remember or not.

I disagree, Cotto's face is evidence enough for me.

You have no idea what Kizer's responsibilites are, so please don't comment on that. Lazzaratto is covering his ass in the event that he is mistaken. Until Evangilista or Nady contradict what he said, I will assume his memory is accurate.

That's what I'm saying. Cotto put on a boxing clinic for the first five to six rounds and then Marg turns into Tyson? Also, the quotes say that Marg's gloves were felt. What would you feel, it would harder afterwards.

you can't believe commission "big wigs" or probably anyone involved. the bottom line is that most of the guys talking have some type of 'interest' in what they say.

no one will ever know the truth for sure, but you gotta make up your own mind based upon what is known. What's known is that he used illegal wraps vs Mosely and he was a heavy puncher in a lot of fights before the Mosely one. So why would Margo only use illegal wraps once for Mosely?

Plus it's easy to say you checked the wraps but between Collins-Resto fight and Margo-Cotto how many high level incedents were there. If you're not looking for this type of thing you can easily miss it when there is intent on hiding the offence.

Apologies - you added them later on in the thread, but they were important at the start since they established Kizer was not in the room - so his comments are irrelevant, really.

Evangelista denies being in the room. Nady was not the referee for the fight and was not quoted himself, so he's effectively irrelevant to the discussion, and the inspector twice refers to it being his "recollection" along with the fact it was 18 months ago. That suggests he's not entirely sure.

The evidence is conflicted and, as Arum states, the inspector in California had missed it. How do you know that these guys did any better and, in the case of Lazzarotto, he has an agenda to protect his future career. Do you think he's going to admit he didn't do his job properly?

Margo was widely favoured to beat Mosley. Why would he choose to load up against a guy who had looked so poor in his last fight, but not a guy who had looked devastating in his last two?

    Your explanation is unconvincing.

One confirmed witness, one who denies and one who hasn't contributed. So, plenty relevant.

Exactly what I am starting to think, Obviously Margarito shook up Floyd enough to duck him and basicy the winner of Cotto Margarito would have likely gotten or wanted a fight with Floyd thats why Floyd retired...

I think there are some people trying to smear his name over some **** that has been drug out a bit too far.

I have been saying this since it was assumed he cheated in this fight... you know it alls need to investigate **** every now and then.

Cotos face showed nothing but a fighter who could not adapt to a big man pressuring him back with a high work rate, 99.9% of Cottos opponents looked worse after they Fought Cotto than Cotto did after he fought Margarito..:hi:

The funny thing is that if Cotto beats Margo in a rematch the speculations that he had plaster in their first fight are going to grow even more. Either way Margo's rep is tainted no matter what the NSAC says, Cotto or Margo's team says or the media. Margo and his team f***ed themselves big time and is nobody's fault but their own.

And the Funny thing is should they rematch and Margarito repeat what took place in the first fight, your all still going to find a way to say he cheated...

Yeah, but a cement block wrapped in plaster of Paris thrown at Miguel's new Jaguar's glass... windscreen might have something to do with that too.
