I agree, and said so before Gassiev ever fought Usyk. Briedis is a nightmare for anyone not name Usyk.
You would have to go with Briedis. Not only is he the better boxer, he is also crafty(dirty) as ****. Gassiev in comparison is one dimensional power puncher. You can thank Abel for that.
Controversy aside, I find it astonishing how anyone could not know Briedis was severely hampered by injury when he fought Gevor when you compare how he looked prior to that fight and last night. He looked like a completely different fighter against Gevor and it wasn't just a style thing either. That step to the side, right uppercut, left hook, right hand he dropped Glowacki with was beautiful. This content is protected
Briedis's sharp shots and high workrate would pin Gassiev into his shell. Gassiev could get through with quick little counters though, and Briedis can be hurt. Would be a very good fight; hard to predict.
