Khoren Gevor is a good fighter who got robbed against Felix Sturm. Even comparing him against Pavliks mandatorys is an insult. Abraham defended his title against much better opposition than Pavlik ever defended his strap.

Even if the judges robbed Hopkins blind twice against Taylor, it isnt enough to call "No Intentions" the best middleweight of the decade after Hopkins.

oh i know that's what they said...about the trouble w/ weight. but it seems now that he wasnt overly concerned w/ his diet during camp back then. he said in that interview before the aa fight they he used to just eat whatever the hell he wanted.

On the mark Ed. Calzaghe spent at least 5 months calling Pavlik out. As soon as KP got clear of the obligatory rematch with Taylor he said "bring it on." Arum, Warren, and HBO all thought Pavlik/Clazaghe would be an easy fight to make. Lockett was an Enzo Calzaghe fighter, and the political machinery took over and got him ranked much higher than he ever deserved to be ranked. Joe ran the other way.

haha, yeah i mean that fight looks like a HUGE set up in retrospect. enzo **** talks his own fighter, says that lockett is no calzaghe, lockett gets destroyed to set up the fight with calzaghe and super joe runs off to revive the corpse of roy jones and put him in the ring

So a guy who fights an opponent who just got knocked out by Raymond Joval is fighting good competition? And when the same guy ducks Zuniga in order to make a voluntary defense aganst Elvn Ayala is fighting better fighters than Rubio?

Log off noob. you're not qualified to be here.

after the lockett fight kelly asked the audience if they wanted to see him fight joe. who would have one that potential fight in retrospect isnt the point :D but that was the idea at the time. hell, joe congratulating kelly after jt and inviting him up for a fight (calling him out) was an esb frontpage article.

Hopkins had a title run that lasted halfway through the last decade. That is why he is number one for the decade. Kelly and Jermain split the last half of the decade so the nod would go to the guy that won the head to head meeting. Also, Kelly took the title at 160 DECISIVELY.

What time is it over there in Germany? Too early to be drinking so heavily, I'd wager.

Taylor was doing a 'Miranda'. Trying to convince himself so he could get back in the ring.

Calzaghe ran from Pavlik? :? That's a new one.

Pavlik is the biggest ducker in boxing, ducked Abraham first and now he is ducking a ****ing welterweight. And even the C-class opponents seem to be out of consideration for him, as Rubio, Lockett and Espino don't deserve to be ranked even on the C-class.

Taylor > Pavlik > Abraham if we're talking about title runs.

If the question would be who the best MW of the three was, then my answer would of course be Abraham. Abraham would have beaten both guys at MW.
