Well, Hopkin's isn't going to have the size advantage like he sometimes does.

Nunn at his brilliant, extremely short peak was incredible.

Eh, it's a hard one to call.

Hence the thread. Tough one to call. I prefer Nunn if he dosen't become negative.

Nunn was brilliant but Bernard has really proved himself on too many occasions to ignore him.

IMO, it is Hopkins by the slightest of margins in a very, very close fight.

I'll take the Hopkins from the Glencoffe Johnson fight...That was the best Hopkins I've seen. During that time, Hopkins was rounding into a very formidible fighting machine. IMO he would take Nunn out of his comfort zone by pushing an inside fight...Hopkins by UD by sweeping the last five rounds convincingly...

I'd say this could shape up to be a purist's bout of the highest standard, outside of Hopkins vs. Hagler. We'd see a close and interesting fight between two boxing machines. I'd take Hopkins to wear down Nunn. Nunn seemed like the guy that would make the standard pace, and then Hopkins would be the guy to deviate and destruct the standard pace. Kinda like a rougher version of watching Toney Vs. Nunn. Except Hopkins would be really close on the cards.

Edit: Actually I don't mean "rougher" as much as I mean it would be a tougher match. The styles are so tight to make a really rough tactical match for both fighters.

I think Nunn would win this he is taller and bigger and was outboxing Toney also has good power and very good handspeed.
