Nurse vs coyle

Can only see Nurse winning wide on points Coyle will have to stop Nurse

 

Coyle has woeful boxing ability, saw him in with a journey man last fight he really struggled to beat him. Nurse might stop him late too because I rate willie limond above Coyle tbh

 

Coyle can box, remember what he done to derry before the knockout. Nurse wide points victory for me though.

 

He was over eager after a lengthy layoff last time out. He out boxed derry Matthews b4 getting caught. Still don't see him winning this fight tho.

 

I was going to mention the Mathews fight as others have. Everyone says he can't box at all but was brilliant that night before getting caught.
He reminds of a lower level Ricky Hatton because he can box well but he simply doesn't do it enough which is fair enough v the likes of Campbell but not for against journey men.
He prides himself as a man of the people and always mentions being in wars and never giving up for his fans but it is unnecassary at times.
Hope he wins this British title though, seems sound and will always respect him for that Brizuela fight.

People shouldn't write off Tommy. On recent form you'd have to lean towards Nurse but Coyle's boxing ability is definitely underrated.

Also, let's just remember that Nurse lost to Dave Ryan who was fighting with one arm so he's not exactly a world beater either.

 

Coyles the biggest culprit for underestimating his boxing ability. Hes a great boxer when he turns it on. He jyst doesnt fo it enough

 

Couldn't agree more.

Nurse is nowhere slick as people make out and regularly gets countered.

Coyle will be forced to box vs Nurse as he's not going to brawl with him so this may actually be to Tommy's benefit.

That said, be interesting to see the size difference come fight week.

 

It's pretty much the same height difference as when Tommy Coyle fought Luke Campbell. And probably the same result IMO.

 

Nurse will win but he doesn't hit hard enough to stop Coyle.

 

If Coyle comes to run all night, which I think he will, he will be hard to beat. From what I'm hearing Nurse is the new Sugar Ray Robinson, nevermind the fact that he lost to Adil Anwar and Dave Ryan. Coyle won every round vs Derry baring when he got caught. He's going to come in to run because he is moving up in weight and Nurse isn't really that good on the front foot walking someone down. Coyle has faster feet for me.

You'd think Nurse should be 1/100 in the bookies the way some mugs are going on

 

As I said in another thread, Nurse by wide UD for me -- although Nurse could get the late TKO stoppage.
