The funny thing is that Ruiz should have faster hands then Parker. There was a time in this age where Ruiz had some of the fastest hands in the hw division.

Actually Ruiz is quite fast, as he keeps everything tight. Compared to Parker, Id say Parker is quicker but Parker probably has the quickest hands of the top 10 in the division!

I just noticed Ruiz gets slower by the rounds as you do. So does every other boxer but Parker is still fairly quick in the late rounds. The Takam fight wasnt the case but all of Parkers other fights, he demonstrates machine gun combinations.

Kiwi on the run after streaming boxing fights

    http://www.newshub.co.nz/tvshows/story/kiwi-on-the-run-after-streaming-boxing-fights-2016101018?

Joseph Parker will have the chance at a world boxing title early next year, and it's big news in the sports world.

It's sure to be another box office smash for those who put the fight on, but how will you be watching it? Will you pay-per-view? Or deliberately not pay-per-view?

Kiwis are increasingly taking part in livestreams, watching for free and risking being taken to court.

SKY TV and boxing promoters Duco Sports are enraged and going after the online rebels in a big way. They say they will take everyone who puts up a link to their fights, to court.

But the streamers say they'll just keep going.

Story went to meet a man who had been streaming and now he's on the run, in hiding from the promoters, somewhere in New Zealand.

I love it how they say they have lost X amount of money because X amount of people watched it on a stream.

It's like they honestly believe these X amount of people would have paid for it in the first place.

It makes perfect sense if you are claiming damages that you go for the max. It would be pointless the party offended against saying "oh, they only watched it because it was free so we haven't been done any damage at all."

WBO orders Joseph Parker versus Andy Ruiz Jr. for vacant title

Joseph Parker and Andy Ruiz Jr., were ordered on Thursday to fight for the vacant WBO world title during a meeting at the sanctioning body's annual convention in San Juan, Puerto Rico. They will square off on Dec. 10 in Auckland, New Zealand.

Parker and Ruiz will meet for one of the belts that Tyson Fury relinquished.

Parker is the organization's No. 1-rated heavyweight and Ruiz is No. 3. Klitschko is No. 2 but he is instead pursuing a fight for the vacant WBA belt or could fight IBF titleholder Anthony Joshua.

Klitschko and Joshua hoped that the WBO would also sanction their possible fight for the vacant title but that was a non-starter for the organization.

Andy Ruiz Jr. (left) could become first Mexican heavyweight world titleholder in boxing history.

WBO president Francisco "Paco" Valcarcel told ESPN a few days before the convention began that he hoped to fill the vacant title by putting together a four-man box-off of the organization's top-ranked contenders, but once it came down to making the decision on Thursday the traditional way of filling the title was implemented instead as the two leading available contenders were ordered to meet for the title.

"We have worked a deal out with Parker's people and Andy signed the contract earlier this week, but it was all subject to the sanction," Arum said. "We got the sanction and it's a done deal.

Great opportunity for Parker and a title fight for NZ.

Rumours strong that the winner of Parker vs Ruiz will face David Haye.

Should Parker win he might be more inclined to seek a unification fight?

Amazing that Haye should get a, probably at home title shot after beating only Demori and Gjergja

They make it up as they go along these days. Rules and practices are only adhered to when it suits.

Haye needs to get through his next fight too, first though.

It isn't even known who is opponent is as yet. But I suspect we'll hear an announcement on that in the next day or so.

What about the undercard for Parker Ruiz 10 dec? Junior Fa is down to fight Tatupu on the 17th dec. Will duco steal him from that? Bowyn Morgan? John Parker? Surely not BBB....Jeff Horn?

If Duco really want to showcase themselves and the Pacific talent, they need to pull out all the stops. Junior Fa should jump at the chance. The showcasing of these fighters to hundreds of millions would be worth every effort to get ready for the fight.
