Hopefully this time, unlike heavyweight tourney, winners of eliminator 1 & 2 get to trade punches in semi 1 and 2 & 3 in semi 2 ;) AND it doesn't take a year & a day to add up 3 round scores

You would think the winner would have to come from the top 4.
    Aloua, Pitt, Ammann or McCracken.
Very few names left in the barrel for the final contender.
    Mark Flanagan fights on 3/12/14
    Balazs Varga fights on 13/12/14
Kane Watts would be my guess. He fights Mick King over 4rds on the Mundine card.

Failing that sleeper Kashif Mumtaz could be the dark horse.

Brad Pitt is certainly a worthy clear favourite.

But im backing Israel Adesanya to take it out. I know he hasn't even had a pro fight yet but the format suits him. He's had plenty of 3 round kickboxing tournament experience that the others most likely don't have.

He's got stamina and quick hands which is handy for this format. His foot work is excellent and he's hard to catch, i reckon the others will take a while to figure him out and 3 rounds may not be enough. He's a legit fighter and pretty tough but isn't very physically imposing. He might just get out wrestled by the bigger guys, or just ktfo but I dunno I quite like his style he's a character for sure.

Brad Pitt will comeback hard after the Aloua loss & will be better fighter not training under Lincoln Hudson

Sky Arena is saying Vaitele Soi and David Aloua will be targeting title fights in the next 12 months. Soi is well under the radar but could be the potential winner of the super 8, by all accounts he's a good puncher.

If Pitt doesn't comeback hard i don't think he can win this tournament.

The short format will suit Pitt. I see him taking it out. Is Lance Bryant related to Robbie?

Pitt could keep a safe distance & box their ears off, he just doesn't want to be going forward like Hudson had him doing against Aloua. Pitt can just stay back & they will walk into a trap boooom!

    Draw:-

Pitt vs Kwadjo (who didn't turn up at weigh-in)
    Ammann vs Adesanya
    Filimaea vs Emmerson
    Soi vs Bryant

I made Sky Arena aware Kwadjo encountered Visa problems when scheduled to fight Hooper on Nov 8 & suggested it arrange a standby
