I think Marquez would have a great chance because he could definitely take Lopez's shots and outbox him.

 

I pick Marquez because he is higher in weight and although he has been through some wars, still maintains technical skills that overmatch the young Lopez. Lopez would probably be placed right into the counter punch fight that Marquez would look forward to in order to tear him apart.

 

Marquez breaks him down easily. Too skilled, too tough, and his veteran instincts is too much for Juanma.

 

Marquez by UD, better boxer and has the experience.

 

Last time I checked JuanMA is at 126, and JMM at 135. Unless your talking the prime JMM at 126... in which case its a mismatch. A prime Marquez would wipe his ass with JuanMa.

 

Now or in his prime at 126 JMM whoops all over that ass.

 

Marquez would beat him easy. He is to savvy for a guy like Lopez not to mention that Marquez fights 2 divisions higher. Even if they were the same weight Lopez only chance is to catch Marquez. But that isnt gonna happen here against the bigger man.

 

JMM is on an entire different level.
