tony galento vs joe frazier. two gorrillas roughly the same size and build and tremendous left hookers. who get there first with the big hook and can both go the distance? who wins this ugly foul filled fest?

i wouldnt be so sure about that tony was a tough s.o.b. and LIKED to fight the tougher it got the more he ate it like candy. beware joe frazier.

galento was a tough bloke but this only means frazier makes more of a bloody mess of his face on the way to a tko win

Prime Galento beats anyone in history, apart from maybe Dempsey and Louis.

I love Joe Frazier but this is another brutal Galento KO !

For starters, they are not the "same size and build" at all...

Frazier will get there first, he'll get there more often, he'll land cleaner.

Frazier carves him up and knocks him out by, at the latest, round 8.

    Yes, I read correctly.

    Frazier is 5' 11/2" and 208lbs

    Galento 5' 8" and 230lbs

Galento too wide, too slow, too open to be a factor.

This is a mismatch. Fraziers workrate, bobbing and weaving and much faster combinations is just too much for Galento. Joe 3rd round stoppage.
