No, No, No!... You are forgetting Team Williams backed out of the deal to fight Pavlik the first time... EVEN when Arum had alrady agreed to all of Goosen's financial demands... (Big Pusee move by team Williams) THEREFORE when Goosen made the offer to fight Margarito, Arum was not going to negotiate with them anymore and told them to go F.. themselves.. Arum made it very clear...Goosen made that offer knowing damn well Arum was not going to budge.. It's not like Williams has been fighting Top opponents anyways.. Even his win against Margo is somewhat questionable.

 

He earned his shot when he beat Margo (with loaded gloves I might add), I'm pretty sure the only reason Mosley is considered the top WW right now is because he beat Margo, so how did Williams not earn his shot.

Nope, it was a close fight which could have gone either way IMO...He didn't cheat but he was holding WAYYYYYYY too much, not just the occassional clinch but Holding as in "wanting to make love"... constantly. The ref should have deducted points for that.. Clearly. Also, the majority of boxing analysts had Margo winning the fight... It wasn't a clear win for PWill.

 

Let Williams go to 160 where he belongs.

Dissapointed for Mosley he has now become the forgotton man after pullin off the upset of the year. Regardless f comp, he needs to keep busier, he is an old man resting wont help him anymore.
