I don't find it confusing at all. Very few ....if any...trilogies consist of 3 consecutive fights between the same two boxers. Fighters almost always take intermediate fights against other opponents. GGG will probably do the same. (In any case I'll believe this about spike v Clenelo when I see it.)
Yeah but if there's, as expected, another close decision, we are going to be, regardless of the actual outcome, 2 fights deep into a rivalry that still lacks a conclusive satisfying ending or determination of the "better man".
Lol spike is probably Canelos level when his clean like that guy that knocked price out when he didn't have his peds he is a trash can lol
Oh yes, in that case undoubtedly we would be poised for a trilogy alright. But in all likelihood both men would probably take at least one fight against other boxer(s) before their third against each other. In that context Canelo facing spike is not all that unlikely. A safe stay sharp fight. Let's face it, even if Canelo was to choke on his mouthpiece in the first, break a leg in the second, and his trainer gets s heart attack in the corner after the third....he still kos spike in the fourth . Spike poses little threat to Canelo, and indeed would be an ideal safe, stay active fight for Canelo to take.....
Laughable choice, if this is true (it's not official yet). There are a good 15 names who deserve a shot more than O'Sullivan who is levels below Canelo.
I guess win or lose Canelo could go after the WBO belt. O'Sullivan would be a good fight to get the UK to start talking about Canelo again.
