This would be a great fight for both fighters. And come on o Sullivan would of gotten Johnson out of there alot earlier than it took dereveychenko. O Sullivan is looking to face ggg. This is his ticket right here beating the ibf mandatory sergey derevychenko and the ibf always mandates. This Would be a great fight for both fighters

You want to trash O'Sully's glory that soon after by far his biggest win of his career?!
I like the John L Sullivan mini lookalike, but Derev puts the hurt on him. He already beat better fighters as Spike.

Derevyanchenko wants a "big fight". He wants to be really recognized in the US as a top level middleweighter. I'm not sure he will get that fighting O'Sullivan.

O'Sullivan could've gotten Johnson out of there earlier, but he'd have been well behind on the scorecards by the time he did so.

Dereveychenko would ruin O'Sullivan, as fan of Spike this is not one I'd like to see... Stevens or Rosado would be better fights for him.

I think Spikes at the level where hes gonna be up against it no matter who he fights. I'm a fan of Spikes style, but it smacks of beatings on its way at this level. As limited as Lemieux is, he lays Spike out cold anytime soon after the first bell. He could fight guys like Rosado and Stevens, but does he beat even them who are worn a little? He needs a title shot given to him imo otherwise he'll be beat before hes worked his way into contention !

I'd rather see him against Lemieux for that reason... At least he'd have a punchers chance and would probably wouldn't take too much of a beating. Dereveychenko probably doesn't have the power to lay him out early but is more technically sound which gives Spike very little chance of landing a big shot.. Would be an extended beatdown like the Johnson fight.

Really his best win johson. He struggled against johnson . Sergey was even being driven back at times his eyes were red he was gassing out he won that fight. But he struggled like hell

Derevyanchenko doesn't hold a title either, and it's very unlikely Spike will get a shot after getting spanked by him.

That's why spike would fight him to get ibf mandatory shot . He would risk it
