looks like they got a decent turn out in the end. It filled up late for the Haye-Enzo fight was well.
Looks pretty busy now! Was the same for the Macerinelli fight, everyone in the bar till the main event.
It filled up for the Mitchell-Johansen fight and they had to shut the bars to get people in for that!!!
I did my usual thing of posting a critical comment on Warren's column with the 2000 estimate (not too critical though so it had a chance of getting published). Of course it didn't get published and the only comment on the article is "Has Frank Warren written an autobiography, if not he should do." atsch
I read it. I love it. He's a multi-millionaire promoter and the Sun is the best selling daily paper in Europe and i'm just...well, little old me. I should not even be on his radar. Terrific stuff. We will do a homage to his different hairstyles this week on Buncey's Hour. From wedge to suave. Adios.
The recent Rhodes fight in Sheffield was a total sell out a week before the fight with a little over 2000 tickets sold. I doubt Coyle brought too many down from Scotland, maybe a hundred or so. I think Haye ****ed up big style on the admission price. Far too expensive in the current climate and this close to christmas.
