no threads i know of is on this fight so....i created one.

i'm kinda looking out for this fight. both guys are are best light heavywieghts (alright calzaghe is but he was a supermiddlewieght) of the past few years.

dean has been fighting all over the register. cruiserwieght light heavy supermiddlewieght....even thretend to go to light middlewieght if he had enough time to get down to it.

oakey is a workman and a joker 5'8 light heavy is tiny but the guy fits the bill well has pretty decent handspeed and likes to get things done.

i kinda up for this it sounds like a decent fight for me. francis might run like he has done before but his arm is getting in better shape and he is getting more confidence to throw it and put power on to it.

    your thoughts

Like everyone else i wonder what Dean would have been like with 2 hands. He is still competative with 1 so with 2 most people seem to have him at decent world class especially loosing his power hand.
I think oakeys work rate might be just enuff for a points win

i remember dean (i wasnt a fan and was pretty young when this happend) being a prospect.
being englands best chance of a next weorld champion.

good boxer but never had the power (due to his right hand disappearing) to stop guys. peopel just kept bowling over him. literelly rolled over him just walked through his jab

i dont know if he coudl of become a world champion but a euro level at least
