Oakland Billy Smith KO1 Billy Noble, Maricano/Walcott II insight

...i'm bumping this back into contention because i sawbilly smith (oakland billy at that time) in cincinnati in 1948...and billy spent some time in cincinnati so i followed his career with interest. yes he was erractic and yes he could sock.

i'm pressed for time now but i will get back to this one as soon as i can. billy was quite a character.

billy's kayo of harold johnson...saw it live on tv and i called it in the first round, harold took billy lightly and was bringing his left jab back lazily and i said billy would kayo him with a right hand over it in a round or so.

walcott favored over marciano in the rematch?!?!? walcott wasn't even the favorite when he was the champion defending his title. after the great match he put up and still lost i can't see how anyone would figure him to win the rematch.
