The ticket sales were reported to be pretty good. And no one got shot. Anytime there are a lot of people at an event in Oakland and no one gets shot, it is a big success. Karim and his brother are friends of a friend of mine. I've only seen him fight once though, and that was a bad fight (a NC due to a cut on headbutts).
Oakland on Saturday was like a rap concert or video shoot. Bitches in biker shorts all over the place. I would guess the venue was about 80-85% full.
