two of the hard luck welters of the ninetees.

carr was faster and classier. glennwood the harder puncher and far stronger.

    so who takes this????

Hmm. I think Brown had the better chin, too, and that could play a factor since I think this fight goes into the trenches at some point.

    Brown by late, come-from-behind KO.

Carr had the class; Brown was little more than a tough Journeyman. But Brown was the legitmate 147lber with Carr a 140lber in his 90/91 pomp.

Still I can see Carr getting off the floor to edge it

Carr Ws10 95/94.... And it has nothing to do with me buying into the Oba hype pre Bramble.:D

i´d also pick carr, due to his edge in skill. but off the floor most likely.

i think carr was really an unlucky guy!!! got his title shots vs prime trinidad, quartey and oscar (when oba was past it).

he could have been a champ had the titelist been a weaker one (not a weak one, just not a top pound for pounder).

i think he could have handeled say a blocker, james page, andrew lewis etc.

Glenwood was underrated a bit. Very solid technically and a powerful boxer/puncher. Carr was more pure, slick boxer, certainly quicker. I think Brown would be able to get in on Carr and bully him around, taking a close decision.

I have no idea, but props for giving these guys their own thread. Glenwood Brown...I so badly wanted him to do well.

I doubt Carr could beat Mo Blocker.

carr was always a bit fragile. i think brown could stop him late, behind on points.
