    Are you referring to hype?

None of them looked or achieved what Lesnar did in their first 5 fights.

Even if he loses, what he achieving now is good.

So far so good. 3-1 in the ufc but i would love to see him fight couple of more times to prove himself against the other top heavyweights. I want to see if he can dominate the division. There are many tough fights for him in the future.

Carwin-Cain-Gonzaga-Big Nog etc. I would really like to see him fight noguiera. I want to see how good is his ground game against a submission artist like big nog.

In two fights against Mir, Frank had about 10 seconds of successful offense. The rest of the time, he was just surviving against Lesnar.

Herring got dominated... Couture had some moments, but he was never in control of Lesnar to the point you had to be worried for Brock... at no point has Lesnar been in trouble.

The only reason some people think he "looks beatable", is because the hype makes it seem like he should dust dudes in the first 30 seconds.

The fact is that the moment he stepped into the UFC, barring a rook mistake, he's been the best HW in the UFC; inexperienced and all. While the UFC HW depth chart isn't as strong as the other divisions, it's still a damn fine accomplishment for a guy who picked up the sport at 30.

That's another point Rattler. He took up the sport late, no young gun. I agree he hasn't taken punishment like fighting but 300 days a year of wrestling while training all the time would put some wear and tear on his body.

Scur, you'll know more about his wrestling days. Do you know about some of his injuries? WWE aint real but I understand that getting injured ALOT.

Tim Syliva's first 5 fights in the UFC was almost identical to Lesnar.

he was 3-2 he won the UFC HW belt and lost to Mir and Arlovski a guy he beat twice later in his career.

I see Lesnar's career ending the same way as Tim Sylvia's.

Torn MCL, broken ribs (which he wrestled with for six months), neck and back injuries and assorted other knee issues. He was also in a motorcycle accident where he broke his jaw, fractured his left hand, tore his groin and had tissue damage in his lower abdomen and testicles.

Lesnar isn't useless on the ground like Sylvia is.

If you spend the majority of a fight on the ground with Jeff Monson and don't get submitted, you're pretty good.

Brocks had plenty. That was one of the reasons why he left the WWE was because of the grueling schedule. Vince doesnt give guys enough time to rehab. Thats also another reason why Lashley left. I think one of the worst in ring injuries Brock had was a botched Shooting Star Press. He landed on his head and wrestled the rest of the match with a severe concussion. As much as people say its not real getting thrown around and wrestling is real. Those guys pick up a ton of injuries. I mean Angle wrestled nearly his entire career with a broken neck.

You can't rate him for something he hasn't done yet. When and if Lesnar wins some matches I can rate him. You can't objectivley review Lesnar because he hasn't had enough fights yet.

 ok well some of the fight. In fact I think Sylvia actually attempted a submission on Jeff.

Sylvias takedown defense is pretty good, and defensively hes ok on the ground. Remember him literally picking Rico Rodriguez up and spiking him on his head? That was awesome.

Tim has a decent sprawl il give him that. But his ground game as a whole is fairly average by BJJ standards. That said he poses alot of problems purely because of his size and length. Jeff had a ton of problems getting inside because he's strikings so **** let alone taking big Tim down.

I completely disagree with you again.

Carwin hasnt done ****. Hes losing to Lesnar because everything Carwin does (wrestle) Lesnar is better.

The only shot Carwin has of winning is landing a KO. But Lesnar has just as much chance of doing so as Carwin does.

    Carwin is wildly overrated.
