I had Clottey ahead but understand how Cotto got the decision. a) Clottey outscored him, but took too much time off between punches b) Rounds 11 and 12 he did vertually nothing to secure a win c) Cotto proved what a tough S.O.B. he is Clottey kept slipping all night begore he'd throw punches, how much did that cost him? There should be a rematch, the fans deserve it. In conclusion, if Clottey would have been given the decision, the Puerto Ricans would have burned N.Y. to the ground. DON'T EVER SCHEDULE A FIGHT, A DAY BEFORE THE PUERTO RICAN PARADE!
It lacked sustained action there was a lot of times where all they did was look at each other ,it didnt even had a great round so how could this be a great fight.
The fight was entertaining and weird, nothing to complain about here, it had drama and that's what people want.
true. fights like Morales-Barrera or Corrales-Castillo are the kind of fights i consider great fights and this one is not even close to that level. it was an interesting fight but not great by any means.
