fans should band together and create a sort of "occupy boxing" or "occupy pacquiao/mayweather" thing on facebook and/or twitter. start a grassroots movement of people who refuse to buy pacquiao or mayweather fights until they fight each other. if it goes viral, they will have no choice than to fight because the amount of money they lose from people who will boycott will be too large.
casual fans buy anything so hardcore fans can go **** themselves according to arum. This isnt football or tennis like a major sport, more of a niche that people care little for except for some fights. They really arent going to do **** for 20k hardcore boxing fans.
Its not a fight I want to see. There is no way the fight can match the hype. Real boxing fans would never participate. Neither guy is bigger than the sport. Both guys combined aren't bigger than the sport. Its not that big of a deal. They both will soon retire. What will happen then, do we order them to come back.
