OCT 29TH Ward-Froch AC Boardwalk Hall

Hmm, myself (and Cotto's) Birfday. I look forward to this one.

 

This fight should be in a neutral country with neutral judges, referee and commentators, but it won't be that way, SOB is a cheater!

 

Should be a huge event but by not staging it at msg or vegas are they worried about both fighters not selling enough tickets?

 

Froch is going to have to fight his balls off to win this fight. I think Ward clearly wins legitimately, BUT Ward is a Goossen Tutor fighter. Paul Williams is a Goossen fighter. Another high profile fight in AC. I'm just saying, Froch is going up against Ward, 3 judges, and a promoter, and beating Ward alone is a tough task.

 

You people got to respect Froch in a huge way. At first i hated him with a passion but he's growing on me cause the way he backs up his talk and is willing to fight any fighters at their backyard or even plane field. Froch last fight in nottingham england was against Dirrell 2 years ago. Froch is tougher and is far more of a warrior then Haye and Khan.

 

Damn when was the last time Ward has fought on the east coast? Anyway this fight will be interesting. I'm rooting for Froch but i have a feeling Ward will win by ud cause he's quicker with better boxing skills. And even if lets say Froch deserves the win, he'll likely get screwed by the judges cause lets face it, Ward's promoter Goosen is known to make sure his fighter wins no matter what. Example of my boy Williams got a gift win over Lara.

 

Why are people setting up the excuse.. this **** is pathetic.. I understand the connection to P Will and promoters but Really, if anything Goosen fights and Judge selection will be watched even more closely by the New Jersey Commission.. Just get a Ref Like Steve Smogger and 3 Refs from differnt countries none from Europe, and none from the United States or Mexico to satisfy the public. After that the only thing Froch has to worry about is being hit by 1000 Right hands... Lets Get it On.....

Im interested to see if Ward can avoid this punch.. most people including myself can agree that Ward puts himself in the position to be hit with Uppercuts... I think Froch possibly hit Ward with 1 or 2 but usually Ward adjust and doesn't put himself in harms way much more after that.. Froch's game plan has to be more than looking for the Uppercut to stun or knock out Ward.. If thats his gameplan.. Foch will be waiting all night and going home without his WBC belt.. I hope Froch is smarter than that....

 

I'm with Dan on this, although he forgot to mention Froch is also up against Showtime.

I have nothing against Ward personally (except he's pretty dull) but the guy has been given every leg-up possible in the tournament and I resent that.

I also really appreciate Froch's no-fear, blue-collar approach to boxing. He's a real throw-back to the old days, so I hope he can pull off the upset.
