First off floyd can make 140. Him not going down to 144 was a matter of 1) floyd being a dick, 2) to show he was in charge. Floyd never had any intention to get down.

Secondly surely some of you guys aren't that dence. Martinez said it was important to him to be the best, if that's true then what would net him a bigger return in that sense? A fight with a bigger p4p guy in his prime or two smaller ones a shade on the dark side of their primes.

Don't get me wrong I would see nothing wrong with eithet fight, my thing is he bitched out when he was asked about putting himself in the same situation.

    Floyd could fight at 140 - Bull****ing****

Sergio wants to fight smaller guys but wont fight bigger guys - Martinez has already fought bigger guys. :patsch Martinez has moved up from 147 to 154, won a title, went from 154 to middleweight, become undisputed champ.

How many divisions has ward moved up again? lol...

He is calling manny all kinds of **** blah blah - Pretty sure he just said on air that pac is too small for him, and that he wants mayweather.

And whats the bottom line, its Mayweather is having his next fight in 154 domain, Martinez is the former 154 king. Mayweather, being one of the only guys in all of boxing that is ahead of him, makes sense to go after. Not to mention, hes the biggest draw in the sport.

Dear god, you would think Martinez is mike tyson or some **** from the way some of you sound

Martinez is near at the end of his career. He has to fight with some good draws / good names as : Floyd , Cotto , Chav jr .

Of course that I would like to see Sergio against guys like : Pirog , Golovkin , Geale , Lee , Ward or Bute ... it would be awesome but he hasn't too much time ( near 38 years old ) and he must have some good money fights .:D

Martinez is 37 and deserves a huge payday. Ward wouldn't provide that.

I can understand going after the money fights, if they are there.
But to pursue them to the point of a bully in another neighborhood is another story.
    Ward would starch him!!!

Just like it was hard for king arthur to compete in the super six due to him being the smaller of the bunch.
