Today on one of the local sports talk shows here in Vegas they were discussing what the odds were for the fight. Eventually they got one of the guys that runs all the Leroy's sportsbooks on the phone and he said his book is already taking bets and the odds are.....

    -110 Pacquiao

    -110 Mayweather

This fight is basically a Pick 'Em to the inside guys in Vegas. I'm sure this will change depending upon the performance that that Mayweather gives against Marquez in July. I was surprised, I thought Mayweather would be at least -120.

hmm says... seems reasonable and I agree that it will probably change after the JMM fight easily or before that. I'ld side with Pac.

Its all about how Mayweather looks, if he looks the same as when he left vs Hatton, he should be a slight favourite, if he doesnt, I think Pacquiao should be the slight favourite.
Brilliant & interesting fight either way to decide the top guy of our generation.

I think you are absolutely right. The sport of boxing is a 'What have you done for me lately' sport. That is the only reason I believe the odds are what they are right now. It will depend heavily on Mayweather's performance vs. Marquez.

PBFs so called retirement is really a way out of the REAL WW top dogs. He really just wanted this opportunity against Pac, the smaller guy. At least they can not really call him cherry-picking against Pac [and JMM] now as Pac has validated his standing. But should this fight have happened a year ago, people will still say PBF picked on Pac.

I truly believe if this fight would have occurred a year ago Pbf would have been more than 2/1.

Pac batters Mayweather's defensive shell all night for the UD.
