Even though there are odds available on fights happening much later, I still haven't found any for this fight. Surely they'll be posted soon, right? Any predictions for what they'll be? Roid Jones indicated that if they were -600 for him, one should still mortage their house on it. I think if they're that terrible I might actually bet on Cheato. Thoughts?

The best odds I saw for Jones to win are -325, which is pretty damn good and extremely safe. Tito maybe has a 5% chance to win at best. He's coming off nearly a 3 year layoff and he's A WELTERWEIGHT. :patsch It doesn't even matter that Roy is nearly shot. He still has the legs to move around Trinidad effectively and the speed/power to KO him. His prediction of "Tito will go in fo" could easily come true. It's obvious Trinidad just wanted some extra money and although he's a true warrior and will fight his best for his people, I doubt he's very motivated to win and I highly doubt he's even a B level fighter at 170 right now.

I wonder if it's smart to bet on the -325 now or will it be better to wait until January and see if the countdown show makes the odds closer right before the fight..

Also, I didn't see Roy by KO anywhere yet, if that's at -200 or around that it would be amazing.

Interesting take, huki. Where did you see these odds of -325 for Roid? On Bodog there still aren't any odds available. I hope they make it available, even though I'm a ways off from deciding if I'm gonna bet. Your argument for Roid sounds pretty good. A couple of things, though: Cheato is bigger than a natural welterweight now, isn't it? He looked to be in good shape at 160 for Mayorga and Winky. Winky would have kicked his ass just the same at 154, I don't think the weight had anything to do with that ass whipping. And Cheato killed Mayorga at 160. These facts coupled with the fact that Roid hasn't faced anyone who could hurt him since his post Tarver mental meltdown make me think Cheato could be a decent bet IF the odds are good enough. I definitly am not gonna bet money on Roid with shitty odds in the -300, -400 range. I feel like there is tons of room for error in analyzing this fight, which is the only thing interesting about it. Hehe.

I think Cheato has much better than a 5% chance to win IF he is training hard, but I've not done my homework on their camps at all at this point. I seriously doubt Roid will will KO Cheato no matter what. If you find those odds you're looking for to bet on Roid by KO, I would *think* you could get odds in the plus range! They go up dramatically for any fighter when you make a specific bet like that, but in this fight I won't be making such a bet. I may or may not bet on one of these guys to win straight up after my homework is done. But Bodog needs to make the goddamn fight *available* before I can do anything. Heh.

IMO 2/11 (-550) for Roy outright is already tempting. -325 is absolutely insane and I can't believe he posted it but didnt say where!

www.pinnaclesports.com has roy at -351 which is very good.
