I find this very strange. For me, Wilder answered some questions about his chin and heart and I would have it about 50:50 vs Joshua but the bookies still have Wilder at 3.10 (2.1 to 1). How do you see the % chances of each fighter?

The Wilder win over Ortiz obviously came as no surprise to the bookies. So why would that have changed their view?

Wilder showed the same strengths and weakness as before imo. I'm not surprised the odds haven't changed

Chin still doesn't look great to me. Both Joshua and Wilder hit hard enough to KO each other so no reason for odds to change.

Heart - Stumbled around and held on until his head cleared the same way most boxers would. IMO most people would have expected this from Wilder before the fight so no change there either.

He proved his power is capable of stopping a top level guy but as I said above, everybody already knew he had the power to hurt/stop AJ.

If the fight is in the UK then 2:1 on Wilder is realistic odds and no way Wilder gets a decision there.

Wasn't Wilder an 8:1 favorite over Oritz?

The odds of a Wilder victory have lengthened.

The one punch Ortiz landed that didn't connect at the end of the punch had Wilder on bambi legs for the rest of the round, the break, and most of the next round. Let's not pretend that this was a Dorticos/Gassiev type deal here. Wilder really did a good job not letting Ortiz land his counters with any real steam.

How people came out of this fight thinking Wilder has a good chin I will never understand.

Bookmakers change odds when they have money on it ;) In my opinion Wilder did impress in showing he has the tools to be a true champion - The Will, the Range, the Awkardness, the Stamina...(pause) But he does have a tendency to START SLOW...Lots of fighters gave hime trouble early on....And against AJ this may not be forgiven!

P.s Wilder - Ortiz was a spectacular masterpiece of a fight that has undoubtedly pleased boxing fans around the world...Joshua vs Parker fight has a mountain to climb to produce such a display.

A few of the bookies pushed out Anthony Joshua. He's been gradually pushed out since the Takam fight.

Also, the Joshua vs Wilder is a hypothetical match-up, bets on which will be voided by a certain date if the fight doesn't happen by then. Had Ortiz won, it's pretty likely that the fight wouldn't have been made by that date. So the odds have kind of already factored in a Wilder victory.

I think it's a 50-50 pick'em fight that could literally go either way.

Whatever your getting for Joshua I,ll be on it. Ortiz was a good step up for wilder...but he was brought in as a calculated risk of sorts. The only guys Ortiz isn't,t great with is movers. Malik Scott pretty much showed that.

I,d say wilders got about a punchers chance with Joshua. Joshua will bully him all over that ring from the outside. Wilder will get exposed when he's forced to commit himself with his punches. What he's doing is fighting guys that need to commit to him. Ortiz, arreola, Molina. The guys that dont need to are too slow of foot. His tactics for the guys that need to commit are very hard to fight against. You basically have to walk into a trap everytime with that right hand.

The problem is Joshua doesn't need to commit. More than capable of doing it on the outside. That's when wilders lack of skill will get exposed.
I think Joshua will do it a lot easier than people think.

Take nothing away from wilder...I ve always rated him tbh. For me they,ve brought him along perfectly. Was always too raw to chuck in at the deep end. He grew into it tho.

And good win...Ortiz the most skilled fighter in that division by a good margin. everything the guy does it calculated in a boxing ring. Just fell short due to age/bad style match up. Can defo come again tho. Wilder done well.

Well Wilder also got more credit for Joshua winning every round against Takam and he didn't even fight? It somehow swerved Wilders chances ?????smh... :scared1

Truly scary how some configure things....

Odds are after Joshua pummels Parker it will bring SOME reality back in.....

Ironically ...Parker won't have anything to do how Joshua fights Wilder but again ppl will be fooled by it.

Joshua is a comfortable favorite. I don't see Wilder holding up very long. The thing about boxing is ppl have short term memories and can't distinguish time frames.

Joshua is improving at an alarming rate for those with a better boxing eye....

Wilder just squeeked by his first real test.

Joshua will clean out this division. There's little doubt here...from me....

I can only post what I see.........
