Khan didn't say Oscar fought bums. This **** just phrased it that way.

oscar feasted on guys smaller or older than him for the 80% of his career.

oscars a jr lightweight fighter, fights featherweight has beens like troy dorsey and paez...oscars 5 foot 10 these guys were 5-5 or 5-6
wins garbage WBO title against Brehdal instead of the real champs back then

wins 2nd garbage belt at 135 vs jorge paez, former featherweight champ with 62 fights..and 5 foot 5

defends it against guys like john avila and ccarl griffeth...a decent win over another former jr light weight in molina....

genaro hearnadez was a decent win...but it was his first fight at lightweight..another smaller guy.... beat some joe average guys like rafael ruelas, james leija (another featherweight...smaller guy)

so oscar moves up to 140...and who does he fight? daryl tyson...60 fight washed up veteran who was a lightweight his entire career.
so DLH when he moves up in weight, hes fighting guys that he should have fought in the previous weight division.....it was a joke.
fights chavez, almost 100 fights and had lost to randall and whitaker and was clearly a mismatch. chavez 34-35 years old, 100 fights, 5 foot 7, DLH 23 years old, 5 foot 10 and fresh as hell. MISMATCH AGAIN

WHITAKER- 20 REAL world title fights, no WBO there...whitaker natural 135 pounder, 5 foot 7...another smaller older ringworn guy.....
same with CAMACHO...OLD,65 fights, former featherweight....

do we see a pattern here?????

yes, will give him his due too..trinidad- prime. quartey-prime. Mosley-prime, hopkins- 2nd prime, mayweather- prime.... gee, all the prime guys pretty much beat DLH, except quartey, who most thought did...maybe oscar is smart for fighting the small , old ghosts of champions past
    :deal

If I'm not mistaken Chavez had only one loss from his 100 fights. You can downplay every fighters resume the way you did. Whitaker was still a very strong fighter when they met. The fights with Mosley and Trinidad were very close it's not like they beat him from pillar to post. He should have won the Mosley 2 and Tito and lost to Sturm for me.

P.S. I almost called you a hater but it's not good to call everyone that doesn't share your opinion a hater :)

I disagree with you on the Mosley fight, I think the 2nd one was closer, but Shane still pulled it out. I agree with the Tito though, and we all know Sturm beat his ass.

I can't give you any props on the Chavez situation. That was one sided and the man was too small and too old. Nothing more than fighting for a name.

The fight was more than anything compromised by the big cut. For a young fighter like Oscar taking on an ex monster like JCC can never be easy.

By the time Oscar De La Hoya was Khans age he was already two or three time world champ and a terror of his division. He wasn't ****en hiding from everyone the way Khan is. If Khan thinks he's following in Oscar's footsteps he better go to youtube and watch his fight against Prescott again.

i read this quote a few days ago. i wasnt surprised in the slightest.
he is a complete fake character. there are two amir khans - 1 on camera who seems like a decent chap and 2 the real amir khan who is just another chav...****in sending naked piks to sum girl he dont know LMAO!

he says he wants to fight guys when they are on the way down, this reflects khan the fighter. he's a *****. it makes me appreciate guys like james toney who will fight anybody anywhere anytime.
toney just loves to fight, he had his first title defense only 6 weeks after he won the title in a gruelling fight against michael nunn.
i guess this is the mentality he has always had and it will only be fed being around guys like freddie roach.

im not a hater, i've been a fan of this guy since 2002 before he burst on the scene. but the more he speaks or does something i dislike the ****er.

thats cool. because i dont hate DLH, but he is a blue print for the best match making and how to build a career with the least amount of danger per fight...until its absolutely necessary
