I know it's more convenient for the Pacquiao fans to think their man beat a good version of Hoya, but he really didn't. Props to Pacman, but Oscar needs to retire. He couldn't possibly be competitive with anybody at 147 in that state. End to a great career.
this was totally expected. every boxer pac destroys has to be shot. :-( but before pac won, this fight was a circus act and a gross mismatch with pac being the overwhelming underdog.... tsk..tsk..tsk... you ppl make me sick! :verysad :verysad
before the fight and maybe through the first round, i'd describe him as past his prime. looking at him after the fight, he's definitely shot.
Circus turns into a mismatch and in the end turned into excuses! Oscar was past his prime but pac was a midget so that evens out the field. Pacman made Oscar looked more shot than he actually was. Pac shocked the boxing world and made history! no can take that away from him... :deal
Nope... just couldnt handle the speed. If DLH was a defensive fighter, he would've given a decent fight. Problem is, they trained him to go offense. You cant do that against Pac, He is an offensive machine with good ring generalship.
did i say that? what an ass... you ppl didn't see oscar as being shot until pac destroyed him. that's why you ppl kept saying before the fight that oscar will KO pac inside 6. that pac had no chance. that this fight was a circus act and a gross mismatch. even 95% of boxing analysts said so. now, pac annihilates dlh and then suddenly ppl here magically realize that dlh is shot. even some of you here say that dlh is more shot than rjj. :-( i'm sure if pac destroys hatton the same way, ppl here will again say that ricky is shot. just a suggestion. even this early, already look for tell-tale signs of ricky being already shot. at least, next time your belated "epiphany" of shotness when it comes to pac's opponents wouldn't be too obvious. :verysad
